The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) is conducting a recruitment drive for the positions of Medical Officer and Homoeopathic Medical Officer. There are a total of 37 vacancies available, with 22 vacancies for Homoeopathic Medical Officer and 15 for Medical Officer (Dental). Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Applicants must be 45 years old or below as of January 1, 2024.
- Educational Qualification:
- Homoeopathic Medical Officer: Candidates should have completed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University. They must possess a degree in Homoeopathy of 5½ years duration from a recognized university/institution mentioned in the 2nd or 3rd schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973. Additionally, they should be registered with the Central Homoeopathy Council/Homoeopathy Council of Himachal Pradesh.
- Medical Officer: Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree from an institute recognized by the Dental Council of India and should be registered with the State Dental Council.
Application Fee
- General category applicants, EWS, PwD, and candidates from other states are required to pay a fee of Rs 400.
- SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates covered under UR – BPL categories will have to pay a fee of Rs 100.
